Participation of East Gate Organization in the 55th session of the Human Rights Council at the United Nations Palace in Geneva / Switzerland

In response to the invitation of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations General Assembly, East Gate for Sustainable Development participated in the 55th session of the Council from March 15 to April 5, 2024 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

The organization's participation was based on affirming the right to development as the manifestation of the totality of political, economic, civil and cultural human rights, and denouncing the violations occurring in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The side meetings resulted in more relations and clarification of the role of civil society organizations specialized in sustainable development to defend the right to development for all.
