This study, issued by the "East Gate for Sustainable Development," examines the state of the investment climate in Iraq through the World Bank's "Business Ready" report. It reviews Iraq's performance across ten key indicators covering areas such as business entry, financial services, taxation, and dispute resolution. The findings show that Iraq ranks low in most indicators, with relatively better performance in areas like utility services and labor. The study recommends enhancing the efficiency of government institutions and creating an attractive investment environment to support the private sector and attract foreign investments.
