Today, 24/10/2023, the Forum for Private Health Services in Nineveh opened its work at the University of Mosul Theater in the presence of His Excellency the Secretary of Health, the Parliamentary Health Secretary, the Secretary-General of the Representatives, in addition to the President of the University of Nineveh, Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, the President of the University of Mosul, Dr. Qasar Kamal Al-Ahmadi, and Mr. Assistant President University of Mosul administrative employee, Mr. Assistant President of the University of Mosul, scientific employee, Mr. Ali Al-Tamimi, representative of the Director General of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and Mr. Saleh Al-Jubouri, member of the Council of Ministers. The Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Hans Sande, and guests from Germany and representatives also participated in the opening of the forum. Companies, debt investors, officials and a number of college deans.

The activity began with the national anthem Then the Ministry’s speeches were delivered by Dr. Saad Al-Lami, Director of Karkh Health, on behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Health, and the speech of the Health and Environment Committee in the Iraqi Parliament was delivered by Representative Majid Shangali, then the speech of the University of Mosul was delivered by Dr. Munir Salem Al-Badrani, the sponsors’ speech was delivered by Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, President of Nineveh University, and the organizers’ speech. Which was delivered by A. Yahya Abdel Mahjoub, President of the East Gate Organization for Sustainable Development, Economic Research and Market Studies After that, Dr. Ibrahim Adeeb Al-Chalabi reviewed the study of the quality of private health services in the city of Mosul, which was conducted by the Mosul Center for Culture and Science and the East Gate Center for Economic Research and Market Studies in cooperation with the Department of Economics and the University of Mosul. The opening concluded with a play about health insurance by an elite group of staff from the College of Fine Arts.

Then, a series of workshops began in the colleges of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and nursing. It is worth noting that the forum was held by the Mosul Center for Culture and Science, the East Gate Organization for Sustainable Development, and the University of Mosul under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, and its activities will last for three days.
