The East Gate Organization for Sustainable Development, the Mosul Center for Culture and Science, and the University of Mosul, as part of the work of the Community Health Services Forum in Nineveh for the period 10/24-26/2023, held a workshop on the use of artificial intelligence in the management of clinics and medical complexes, in which the engineer Anmar Shamil, a specialist in providing solutions, participated. Software for medical clinics, Dr. Safia Adeeb Ibrahim from the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Ashraf Abdel Moneim from the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics. The workshop discussed the role of artificial intelligence applications in improving the quality of medical services and the services accompanying artificial intelligence applications in order to facilitate communication with patients through these applications, the appropriate means of payment for purchasing artificial intelligence application services, and what a doctor needs to switch to using artificial intelligence applications in his work. The participants recommended the necessity of issuing union instructions on the necessity of adopting artificial intelligence in writing drug prescriptions, and in communication between the specialist doctor and complementary specialties such as the radiologist, laboratory analyst, and any other specialty. In addition to teaching a course on the uses of artificial intelligence, databases and their protection in various medical academic specialties.
