The East Gate Organization for Sustainable Development, the Mosul Center for Culture and Science, and the University of Mosul, as part of the work of the Community Health Services Forum in Nineveh for the period 10/24-26/2023, held a workshop at the College of Dentistry on ways to improve dental services. Participated in it were: A. Dr.. Imad Farhan Ali from the College of Dentistry, and Dr. Talal Ahmed Al-Fatehi for Nergal Specialized Dental Clinics, and A.M. Dr.. Yes, Riyad Salim from the Faculty of Dentistry, and O.M. Dr.. Zaid Burhan Saeed from the College of Dentistry. The workshop discussed the development of preventive dental health care services, especially for young people and the elderly, the obstacles facing the use of modern devices in the field of dentistry, how private investment can be employed in developing dental services, and the importance of integrated dental complexes in increasing the possibilities of using modern devices. The participants recommended the necessity of cooperating with private clinics and medical complexes in training dental college students in exchange for providing customs exemptions on the medical devices they import and tax reductions.
